This is a general template written in plain English for a small, direct-to-reader book sale, and isn't a substitute for tailored legal advice — particularly around consumer guarantee obligations in your customers' home countries.

Who these terms apply to

These terms cover your use of maxcoyle.com and any direct purchase of The Great Revolution paperback through the "Buy Direct" button on this site, operated by Max Coyle Publishing, Hamilton, Aotearoa New Zealand. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Buying through Amazon

If you purchase the Kindle, paperback, or hardback edition via Amazon, that transaction is governed entirely by Amazon's own terms of service and policies, not these terms. We have no involvement in Amazon's order processing, payments, shipping, or returns.

Direct purchases through this site

Paperback copies bought via the "Buy Direct" button are sold by Max Coyle Publishing and fulfilled personally. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we don't receive or store your full card details.

Prices shown at checkout are in the currency displayed and include any tax Stripe calculates for your region, where applicable.
You're responsible for entering a correct and complete shipping address. We can't be held responsible for non-delivery caused by an incorrect address supplied at checkout.
Shipping timeframes are estimates, not guarantees, and may vary based on your location and postal/courier service performance.

Returns and refunds

If your book arrives damaged, defective, or isn't what you ordered, contact contact@maxcoyle.com within 14 days of delivery and we'll sort out a replacement or refund. Because this is a made-to-order small-batch sale process, we don't offer refunds for change of mind once an order has shipped — but reach out if something's gone wrong and we'll work it out.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act, or equivalent consumer protection law in your own country, that can't legally be excluded.
